I’ll just grab a few things… Feb 24

I’ll just grab a few things for the van – famous last words. A few things have seemed to grow into a never-ending list of stuff. Van stuff, dog stuff, me stuff, cooking stuff – every time I think about what I’ve bought, I think of something else I haven’t.

So, I thought I’d share some pics of the things I’ve bought so far (Mainly from Temu). As you will see, I have a penchant for sunflowers and when I found those tubs in the Reject Shop, I almost lost my cool with excitement. From there, the bathmat – I clearly don’t have a bath in the van, but it’s so soft! Then a few decorations and a mug with the word ‘thankful’ printed on the bit that you see when you lift it up to your mouth – coz I will always need reminding to be grateful. I’ve also ordered a sunflower steering wheel cover – pics to come … lol.

I’ve also purchased a lot of usb-chargeable items. I bought mozzie zappers, a fan and a torch, oh and a mini-Bluetooth speaker. Little did I know that all of them have an inbuilt torch or light up in some way. The speaker flashes multiple colours – it’s quite discotheque-ish. Once I’ve set them all up, I have no doubt I’ll be able to be seen from space – me and the Great Wall of China! So much for stealth camping!

Bunting – handmade from a fabulously talented lady who is also a traveler. The hat was from the op shop and a lot of other items were already in my cupboards. The dogs got new harnesses and a special strap to keep the buggers hitched in the one spot for safety.

So, stay tuned. Apart from the steering wheel cover, there is a set of magnetic hooks, another journal and yes, a flippin’ dream catcher x windchime – for the ultimate hippy, van life vibe 🙂
